The American band Terror was founded back in 2002 by singer Scott Vogel and Nick Jett who played drums. The band had some anger to share with the rest of the world. This anger together with their opinion on how hardcore should sound has lead to the distinct Terror sound. Which can be described as a mix between the old school hardcore mixed with some punk elements. Drummer Nick Jett makes sure he is the backbone of the band creating heavy pounding beats. Martin Steward and Jordan Posner make sure there will be enough fast guitar riffs. “Keepers Of The Faith” is their newest release.
Although they are a band who do not mind staying underground as long as they can peform on stage, the band has a massive group of fans. One thing the band does to maintain their own sound is to stay close to the original hardcore and blend this with the best from metal. Finding that line between rage and energy which they can also bring across on stage. This new album “Keepers Of The Faith” is produced by Chad Gilbert ( New Found Glory) and mixed by non less then Matt Hyde (Hatebreed and Slayer). Frontman Scott Vogel sums it all up, “We wanted to capture those early days of hardcore. This is the record we were destined to make. This is TERROR at its best and I’m so excited to get this out and start touring surrounding its energy and passion.” Energy and passion is what you definitely get when listening to this album. The band is one of the best in changing between fast tempo passages with little crushing breaks in between where you can appreciate the guitar work at its best.
