Coshiva is an Austrian singer and songwriter. She took piano lessons in the age of 6 and taught herself to play the guitar. Up until now she is still playing both instruments. Her first band she started in the age of 17 and also began writing songs on her own around that time. This is her second album. The single “Butterfly” already receives a lot of airplay on the radios throughout Austria.
The music Coshiva put on this album is somewhere between girl rock and indie pop with nice vocals and a groovy sound. The album is a feel-good album spreading positive vibes. All songs are very catchy. The songs are in English and get stuck in your head very easily. The music could also be described as Brit Pop. A simple look at the album cover already gives you the impression of a playful and girly album, and it is. The bright cover and the light and happy music brings out the sunny side of life. Coshiva is a great sunny summer album, even though the summer seems over already. Maybe Coshiva will have some success and receive airplay in other European countries soon. And maybe the music is also able to bring the summer back, at least for a little while
