Amorticure is a gothic band from Bavaria / Germany, founded in 2001. This is their second album called “A Bleeding Soul In A Dying World”.
Just as sorrowful as the title is, the sound of the entire album is. Melancholic music is erasing every spark of happiness in you and that in 36 minutes only. Dark and heavy the music lays on your mood and doesn’t allow any lifts. Rocking guitars are speeding up some of the songs, but the album is mostly slow. The voice is dim and full of sorrow and maybe even pain. Thick like a heavy fog floating only inches above the ground Amorticure go through their “Bleeding Soul In A Dying World”. Almost dead without much power the ten songs push hard. “Tonight” is the only song that is making your rocker heart beat again before it flattens up again. The music and lyrics are quite depressing. “A Bleeding Soul In A Dying World” is for people who like to be depressed or don’t know it any different. For everybody else: Even the brightest and sunniest days get covered with heavy and dark rain clouds when listening to Amorticure’s “A Bleeding Soul In A Dying World”.
