36 Crazyfits is an American Metal band that started sixteen years back. The band is currently up for their sixth release and they named it: “Collisions And Castaways”.
The band has a lot of its name and fame of the guitars. In this album yet again technical riffs pass by and the band knows how to make it sound quite different than the standards. Is it the combination with the vocals by Brock, that feels adventurous and goes shopping at other genres every now and then? Who knows. Most of all it is the combination of these four guys that clearly are a good team. The band has got quite a steady line up for over these sixteen years which clearly has its benefits. It has speed, aggression and yet it is melodic. Clean vocals make it a bit emo at some points which is not necessarily a good point every time, but that is just a matter of personal taste. Furthermore the band have brought an album that shows exactly why they are still around and that fans of their sound can buy without hesitating as it will fall well anyway. With “Collisions And Castaways” you will make it through the summer!
