Mongo Ninja brings metal versus punk since 2009. And yet they are up for their second album. “No Cunt For Old Men” is the name of it.

The base of this band is Norway. Not the most likely country to expect this music from, it is heavily influenced by the American sound is to say, which makes it all a bit more clear. The band seems to enjoy speeding it all up as their music comes with higher tempo than expected. Lyrically, they found themselves being big jokers giving the impression of being influenced by several grind core acts. When listening to the music you might find some oddities in timing also. Suddenly out of the nowhere there comes a riff that seems a bit strangely placed in the song. Wondering if they were having them leftover and decided they had to put that in this album somewhere while it actually did not really fit anywhere. The boys are such rebels! They do it with attitude and radiate that I-don’t-give-a-shit-what-you-think-of-it style. In its genre seen, the album is quality wise not that bad at all. They have the qualities, some things to improve perhaps, but the album is one that many will appreciate.
