This album didn’t make me like it more after I heard it again and again. It usually happens that I get used to music the more I hear it and in this case, it didn’t happen. There is a general fuzziness that is not used properly. Honestly, it makes a band look cool in a bar. Not cool in an album. The production is weak. And this is their fifth album, so I would consider that it was intentional. Also, the constant screaming vocals are not a proper growl. It’s not because you screech that metal is stronger. Still, I would like to see them in a bar. That might change the way I perceive the band and the album. It happened many times before. Fem might work there and I have to give credit to their effort making this album. The fact is that this album didn’t catch my ear. I understand that it might be my taste since it’s their fifth album and everything is highly subjective. They must be doing something right for other people with their vocals and their musical composition is not that bad. But please fix the production. And keep making album covers. This one is very cool.
