Wet Dreams is a Norwegian Rock and Roll formation. Bringing in some Punk the guys came to a self titled release. It is available now.
The guys take you back on a trip down the memorylane. Ramones, Undertones, The Deaf… that kind of material. Interesting enough they are not completely oblivious to the days of now, a slight indie touch to it here and there makes the connection with 2019 come alive as well. The band has a good idea of how to bring all of that together. Suits them and gives them a shape of their own.
Listen for example to the song “Radioactivity” it is a perfect blend of the confidential sound of the past and the modern sound that bands bring nowadays. The guys are really showing their influences but will not forget to make it their own.
On “Roliglåta” the guys take it a bit slower, a time to breath in between the heavier tracks that are to be found on the release but songs like “Boogie” and closer “I Told You / Drugs” are more of a higher tempo.
The guys delivered a varied album with a clear sound. Ballsy and unique in its character the guys have created a fine release.
