In the early 1980s in Copenhagen, Denmark, D-A-D started playing together under their original name Disneyland After Dark. Pedersen came up with the name based on the idea that when the lights are out in Disneyland, anything can happen. The first lineup of D-A-D consisted of Jesper, Stig, Peter and Stig’s girlfriend, Lene Glumer. Since then they have released eleven full length studio albums. This is their twelfth and is called “A Prayer For The Loud”.  The first one in eight years. 

“A Prayer For The Loud” comes with twelve songs. Each song is pure rock’n’roll music. Brilliant guitar riffs are causing you to go along instantly. The lyrics and melodies are highly addictive. The choruses are meant to shout along to. While “A Drug To The Heart” is a song to sway along to, other songs will pull you onto the dance floor. But either way, DAD is getting your muscles twitch with every note they played on this album. 

It has been a long time since the last release by this Danish band. But now, finally, they are back with a brand new album. “A Prayer For The Loud” is making up for the long wait and is short of nothing.
