The Swedish band “Bloodbound” released their full-length eighth album “Rise of the Dragon Empire” at the 22^nd of March.

While waiting for new season of “Game of thrones” you have a chance to know another story about rising of The Dragon Empire: some magic stuff and armed to the teeth warriors. Ok, “Rise of The Dragon Empire”, both track and video, cut off the edges of power metal. The chords that can maximize power of symphonic metal. Pompous and festive. So as other ten tracks. Btw, no new categories of characters has detected. The kings, the knights, the swords and the nights. “Blackwater Bay” is perfect travel guide; any note of song wiggles you on the waves and good guitar solo provides light at the end of journey.  Perhaps, the most dynamic and rhythmic track is “The Warlock’s Trail”, after the first refrain you can repeat it million times, really catching. “Breaking The Beast” reminds “Iron Maiden” and has its own charm. The last track I can mention is “Balerion”, not as freshly as it could be, but there are all the canons of power metal genre.

Turn off the lights and let the darkness in. Dragons’ time is coming. Rise your own Dragon Empire.
