Norwegian songwriter Einar Flaa has basically been baptized in music. Nowadays using his music to get his views out there, a message he wants the world to give. He came to the release of “Silent String” a brand new album with pop/country/folk like songs.
Topic of the day is climate change and so the inspiration for this album is not too far from everydays talk. Aren’t we all having our opinions of the whole, Einar has them as well. He puts them into music in a way that people are listening to it. You can make a song of which people sing the lyrics, but still don’t feel the words, but Einar is writing the kind of songs you listen to while being all shut up. The details in it are giving you food for thought, the lyrics as well as the instrumental part. If, however you have had a bit of overdose on the whole discussion, the album may not be what you want to hear.
Highlights on the release are the songs “Old Talking Oaks” and “King Winter” which are both quite upfront and clear, enchanted with a beautiful glow. But in fact all the songs are part of a complete work. A fine release to listen to, if your opinion on the matter is in line with Einar.
