Welcome to the weird & wonderful world of BUNNY LAKE. The collective from Vienna’s thriving electro-underground stands for both packed dance floors and throbbing hearts. Bunny Lake’s music tells lurid tales of insatiable desires, of the fever of unreason and of the willful dissipation of the self. Bunny Lake is Suzy and Christian, they have a live band though. This is their third album called “The Beautiful Fall”.
Bunny Lake is electro music with fast and pushing beats. Even though Suzy and Christian are both singing the female voice is dominating more. “Army Of Lovers” somehow reminds of Depeche Mode. “Charlotte Goofbye” begins with Christian singing before Suzy joins in. “Ganz Wien” is the only song in German. All in all this album is very suitable for the dance floor and also very danceable, when listening closely and actually concentrating on the music, you find out that the beat is very monotone. There is not much rhythm changes, but as I said you only hear that when listening closely. The album includes some very beautiful pictures as well as the lyrics. Bunny Lake with its new album “The Beautiful Fall” is something you will definitely hear in several clubs. So put your dance shoes on and hit the dance floor.
