Belgian formation Lethal Injury founded in early 2015. The band makes old school Thrash and started working on their debutalbum. This year they released it, “Melancholia” is available now.

The aim for these guys is to go strong, like a machine they rage on from beginning to the end. And this could be coming with the danger of it losing depth, but the guys are not like that at all. There is still quite some melody to be found here and with a whole bunch of strong riffs throwing in between they keep out attention throughout.
Some Black Metal influences can be found there also. The dissonance and those vocals are certainly adding to character, Lethal Inury is therefore a band with a face of their own.
“Melancholia” is an album with a lot of variation, the tempo remains in it at all time, but not one song is too much alike one we heard before on the album. The songwriting is done well and it seems like the guys have thought well about each detail.

A bit of a surprise this release, when reading old school Thrash it does not often come with much influences from other genres but these guys did it with style. A fine release!
