Founded in 2003 Eddy and Yannah from Zagreb mix their own music out of Soul, Urban Beats, Future Jazz und R’n’B. This is their third album called “Fiction Jar”.
Catchy club music is what you get on “Fiction Jar”. Very danceable songs are putting you in a good mood whereas other slow songs lift all the trouble off your shoulders and make you feel free. Easy and repetitive lyrics make it easy to be stuck in your head. Somewhere between chill out and house music you can place “Fiction Jar”. Partially dreamy melodies on the slow and chilling songs give you a very relaxed feeling. Mostly you can hear female vocals on this album but on some tracks you can also find male vocals. Track number 9 “Not What You Do” features a guest vocalist. The album somehow has the style of a soundtrack. Slow and fast music takes you from the couch to a relaxed state of mind. Really nice. The album itself is very colorful and bright. It looks a little bit like a kid’s painting. “Fiction Jar” is a perfect title for this album: fitting to the album layout and to the music. Have fun with the new record of Eddy meets Yannah.
