As I got this album I expected Jazz. As I pressed play on the album I got Jazz…Jazz with electro samples, loops and electro beats. I was surprised. I have never heard anything like that before. But it sounded good. 13 songs without vocals, just piano with electro vibes swaying through the room into your ear freeing your spirit. This album is lifting the heavy thoughts and daily life off yours shoulders, freeing you and gives you a relaxed feeling. Dreamy and romantic you find yourself drifting off, away from everything. Don Grusin combined classic and modern here and put it on this album. “Piano In Venice” is a wonderful and slow Jazz album, a must for all jazz lovers. And also a must for everyone who has a chill-out music collection.
