The Finnish band Warceremony is formed in 2009. Their first demo “Altars of War” is out now. Before the band adopted their name they have been working under the name: Soul Terror.
Death metal is what they make, a kind of something that lays in line of expectation hearing the band’s name. The band brings three songs. A deep growl, a decent set of riff work and the drum work is nothing wrong with either. Changes of tempo in the music come here and there and the structure of these songs seem to be well thought. The band has some interesting moments in the music that they could certainly work out a bit further and make a song like “My Dominion” one where perhaps the vocal styles become more varied. That would make the song a theme to the band’s own music.
The Finns have the quality, the demo is promising quite something for a next release or a lot of brutality in live situations. Certainly on the way to go, a little fine tuning here and there and then the music will throw high eyes in the metal scene for sure. One to remember!
