Axel Rudi Pell is a German heavy metal guitar player and his eponymous band. He started off with the band Steeler (1984–88) before leaving to start his solo career in 1989. During this time, he has played with such drummers as Jörg Michael and Mike Terrana, and singers Johnny Gioeli, Jeff Scott Soto, and Rob Rock.
This is the brand new album of Axel Rudi Pell. It is called “The Ballads V” and comes with ten songs of which the last two are live recordings of which “The Line” is a previously unreleased track. The songs on this album are the best ballads of Axel Rudi Pell plus two covers. The opening title “Love’s Holding Up” includes guest vocalist Bonnie Tyler. Each of the songs on this album is having its own epic sound. Wide arrangements and a strong voice is guiding you through each master piece. “I See Fire” is a cover by Ed Sheeran. Axel Rudi Pell also added an epic cover: “Hey Hey My My” by Neil Young.
Yes, it should be warmer by now. But it is not. So get this album, light a fire and grab a dear one. This album will get you through the darkest, coldest and rainiest days.
