Incubus is an American rock band from Calabasas, California. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist Brandon Boyd, lead guitarist Mike Einziger, and drummer Jose Pasillas while enrolled in Calabasas High School and later expanded to include bassist Alex “Dirk Lance” Katunich, and Gavin “DJ Lyfe” Koppell; both of whom were eventually replaced by bassist Ben Kenney and DJ Kilmore respectively. Now they have a brand new album out which is simply called “8”.
This brand new album comes with eleven songs. Each song is coming with beautiful lyrics and melodies. The album includes the typical Incubus sound we all love. With the singer’s voice, the mood is perfected to lift your mood and spreads positive vibes. Even though some of the songs are quite serious, speaking the truth and sets things straight. The rhythms of the songs are changing several times within the songs. Which makes the album even more interesting. It is up to you whether you put your fullest attention to the music and explore all the amazing things the band put into the arrangements and creation of each song, or you let this album brighten the room around you. The choruses are meant to sing along and it will not take long until you will catch yourself going along to the songs, humming, tapping, singing along. This album sure is a feel good album.
Incubus is back. With “8” Incubus brings you eleven amazing songs. Each one will lift your spirit and rise your mood. Enjoy!
