Get Well Soon is a music project and a band of the German singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Konstantin Gropper (born September 28, 1982). Gropper worked 3 years on his debut album Rest Now, Weary Head! You Will Get Well Soon which was released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by the Label City Slang in January 2008 following lots of positive reviews in the biggest German, French and UK music magazines. In 2008 Konstantin Gropper also wrote exclusive tracks for the latest Wim Wenders-Movie “Palermo Shooting”, alongside other artists like Portishead and Nick Cave. The second album “Vexations” will be released in Europe in January 2010, followed by a European wide tour.

“Nausea” begins with a Cello intro, touchy and soft. A male voice accompanied by a female one. This music leads you into a fairytale like world with its choirs and backing melodies that remind of children sing sang or music boxes. “Seneca’s Silence” is faster than the first track on the album, but the backing choir is stronger. “That Love” is a very slow piece, extremely emotional. The entire album of Get Well Soon is very emotional and touchy, going deep underneath your skin and straight into your heart without you even realizing it. All tracks have a strong background melody that digs deep, even though it is in the back. “Angry Young Man” is accompanied by a female singer again. Get Well Soon created an album that indeed is called “Vexations” but it takes all vexations from your soul, relieving you by freeing them. A wonderful album with lots to explore, soft and slow it grows strong in your heart. Get rid of your vexations by getting these!
