[schema type=”review” name=”Loewenhertz – Echtzeit” description=”Label: Echozone” author=”Sabine van Gameren” pubdate=”2017-03-17″ ]Loewenhertz is a German Electro pop formation. The band released their very first full length album in 2014. After that, they have been busy enough and are now releasing a new one. “Echtzeit” is out now.
Again the band chose a mix between English and German songs, making the whole international and keeping their options open. Ten synthpop tracks and two bonus ones are available at this album and what comes to mind listening to these is that they seem darker than what we know the guys from before. Depression, black emptiness, despairation all has space in there but the guys also leave a slight note of hope available for the listeners.
What the guys remained with is the dancability. Sometimes the songs feel a bit slower, but yet they are dreamy enough to have yourself getting sucked in. The band also focussed on perfecting their input, the vocals are well done and optimized compared with what we heard before and also the synth part seems to have stepped up. Some good compositions are making the album interesting to listen to.
“Echtzeit” is a pleasant release and will certainly appeal to many from the scene. The band has improved which makes it so enjoyable to hear of them again.
