Disco Ensemble is a Finnish post-hardcore / alternative rock band, originating from the small town of Ulvila. They’ve been noted for their energetic sound and rhythm, original guitar riffs and electronic synthesizer sounds. Between the last album and this brand new release it has almost been five years. Now, the wait has come to an end: “Afterlife” is their sixth full length studio album and it is out now.
The brand new album “Afterlife” comes with ten songs and is a great come band by the band. The music is catchy and the melodies will get you going along, as well as getting stuck in your head. The unique voice of the singer is one you will be able to pick out anywhere and anytime. Disco Ensemble still knows how to mix electronic sounds well with rock tunes. The lyrics are taken out of life, so everyone will be able to relate to them. “Afterlife” has a brilliant balance between sadness and hope. Melancholy meets joy.
“Afterlife” is an amazing album by an amazing band. If you are a fan, this is a must-add to your collection. If you love good music, this is yours to check out too! Disco Ensemble is back.
