Kesha Rose Sebert, better known mononymously as Kesha (stylized as Ke$ha), is an American recording artist. Her breakthrough came in early 2009 after appearing on Flo Rida’s number one single “Right Round”. Her debut single, “Tik Tok”, was released in August 2009 and reached number one in five countries and set the female weekly download record in the US. Her debut album, Animal, was released in early 2010.

The album is very danceable and very suitable for the clubs. Also does the music make it much easier to get ready for a party. The lyrics are a little childish and teenager like though. Mostly it’s about parties, being drunk and making out with boys. Maybe you should not really believe and do what Kesha is singing about in her songs. But besides that “Animal” definitely is a party album that spreads a good mood. Easy beats get you going along. This music is not to think about though, it doesn’t have much of a deeper meaning. The music is quite shallow but seems to be intentionally created like that. I would say this album’s target group is teenagers and kids who like to party a lot. Lets see what the future of Kesha brings.
