Warfect is a Swedish Thrash Metal band that formed in the year of 2003. “Depicting The Macabre” is their first full length album.
The band does not tell too much about them, but let’s say there is not much that you need to know, the music speaks clearly enough. The album starts off and from the first second its instrumental package hits you. The drums are the very first thing to notice. They come to the foreground when needed and quite set the tone. Then, there is the rhythm section that fits in here perfectly. Vocal wise you hear a clean voice, which brings a commercial side up. Ok, the lyrics are not the most original part of the music, their causes have been heard before. But in fact, this band sets down decent quality Thrash, which will internationally do well. If it is something you like, you can’t have enough of it, so why not another band like this? Taking you to one of the highlights of the album, you will come down to the fourth song on the album “Symbol of Symbol” which indicates a big live crowd pleaser with its shout-along compatibility. After listening to this album, I can say that when they are mentioned in a nearby venue’s calendar it is worth to block that day and give them a go, as this band is one that will hit many people. If the band succeed in bring some more originality in their music it is doomed for success for sure.
