GRIMM is a German electro alternative band. GRIMM was founded in 2005 and is located to Hamburg / Germany. Their debut album is called “Konsumier Mich”.
GRIMM has a lot of electro in their music and quite morbid lyrics. On the bridge of “Konsumier Mich” you can hear female vocals. The first song also includes some fairytale piano playing. Some songs are very catchy. The songs are mostly sung by a male vocalist who is being supported by a female vocalist in the background. The styles on this album are very mixed, even within a song. You can find folk, metal, electro, alternative and various other styles on this album as well as classical elements. The songs also carry a lot of emotions, mostly angry and aggressive. The songs partially remind of Rammstein because of its harshness and the voice. The music is definitely getting underneath the skin and makes you go along. There is a hidden track on the album. The album booklet is held in red with black. You can find the songs’ lyrics in it as well. All songs are sung in German. Enjoy this first release of GRIMM: I personally hope to hear more about them soon.
