The name Superbutt is ridiculous, but the band itself is far from ridiculous. Superbutt is a talented band that should be heard and appreciated beyond the borders of Hungary. Playing a blend of rocknroll and metal, Superbutt has made their mark on Central Europe and parts of Western Europe.
The album already looks like kicking ass. Held in turquoise and black you can find many decapitated women along with the lyrics to each song in the booklet. When you press play on this album heavy riffs and vocals reminding of punk come blasting right into your face. Some riffs and guitar sounds are very metal. Mostly one riff keeps on repeating throughout the song. As mentioned before, the lyrics sometimes sound like punk, but sometimes also like pure metal.
The music is carrying shadows and the songs sound dark. Several riffs are very catchy and the music is wonderful for banging along. Thriving choruses keep you going all along. The ten songs with an average length of four minutes keep your ears busy for about 40 minutes. A little short, I think, but you can always hit the replay button. Pure and passionate crossover rock from Hungary by Superbutt , straight forward and real. Enjoy.
