Sonic Syndicate is a Swedish metalcore band. They released three full length albums before one of their vocalists decided to leave the band. The found a new singer in James Bigg and with him they released a new EP “Rebellion”.
The band still delivers what they have always done; melodic metal music, where guitars smoothly take you to the aggressive parts. Raw vocals make a bridge between metalcore and come close to the typical emo-screamo metal, but never adapt too much of this in their sound. Even though the band is a metal band, it is much likely for them to pop up in the charts all over Europe at some day as the catchy choruses are the successes for not only the radio edit but also will do in the future gigs. The songs are heavily produced and smoothened, as the band have chosen to do before. This EP is meant for the world to find out that with their new vocalist they are still up to what they have always been doing. With two songs and a radio edit, you could basically call this a single as well, but for the fans it must be convenient to know that there is something to look forward to: the new album that will be released in spring 2010.
