Ever since the formation of the band, Hellsingland Underground’s vision has always been to create music with longevity and depth. The myths and rumors around this band began already in the summer of 2006 after the band’s first gig, at an illegal festival, deep in the woods of Hälsingland, where they sold moonshine straight from 10 litre plastic containers. A myth that have kept growing for every album. Now they have a brand new album which is called “Understanding Gravity”.
The album is calm and filled with passion. Smooth music comes at you on “Understanding Gravity”. Great guitar riffs are combined with amazing melodies and lyrics. The music is perfect to sway along to. The songs Hellsingland Underground put on this album are smooth and mellow. Easily fading in with the background. Taking your mind off all worries. Each song goes deep underneath your skin. Some songs are faster, some are slower. “How Lonely It Must Be Being You” is a sweet and sad ballad that is accompanied by an acoustic guitar.
“Understanding Gravity” comes with twelve songs and lasts for about fifty minutes. Each song has a soul and spreads positive vibes. Brilliant arrangements let you sway along to the music and cause the melodies to get stuck in your head. Go ahead and check out their brand new album.
