Unseen Faith is a Danish band making a mix between Death Metal and Metalcore. The band releases an EP called “Yokebreaker” this year.
This release comes with six tracks that come quite direct and in your face. The band leaves no time go to waste with bringing some power into their sound. Overwhelming combinations of drums and melodics in a high tempo set it out broadly. The vocals are harsh and quite solid. From the started “The Revenant” until the closer “Roars” they manage to bring enough diversity in the songs to keep us listening. Soundwise, you must be fair. The band speaks of uniqueness but there are plenty of bands that are doing this. The fact that they have the Christian look upon it does not change the music in such a way that you can say it brings you something that you have not heard already. However, the guys have brought all in good quality, a good recording and the ideas well thought of. These songs have been given some proper thought before putting them on an EP, which not all bands are able to do.
“Yokebreaker” is an album that will wake some people up. The directness in combination with a well-thought set of songs is quite a winner. Looking forward to see what else comes from them.
