Avenged Sevenfold (sometimes abbreviated as A7X) are an American rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1999. The band’s members are lead vocalist M. Shadows, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Zacky Vengeance, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Synyster Gates, bass guitarist Johnny Christ and drummer Arin Ilejay.

After the death of their friend and drummer The Rev it had gotten a little quiet. After the release of “Nightmare” in 2010 it took another three years until “Hail To The King” came out. Now, just a year later, they have rereleased “Waking The Fallen”, eleven years after it’s original release. This album release comes with a special version with lots of extras and spacial versions as you can see in the track list below. So if you want to be nostalgic as an Avenged Sevenfold fan, this is a must have. For everybody else, this is what expects you on “Waking The Fallen: Resurrected”: The songs on this album are filled with energy and passion to their heavy music Avenged Sevenfold plays. Heavy metal tunes meet amazing lyrics sung with the strong voice of M. Shadows. Travel back in time and enjoy the amazing music for a second time.
