Tonight Papa Roach hit town. Sold out show here in Wiesbaden. The fans were standing in line already long before doors opened.

Papa Roach are currently touring through Europe. Tonight they had two bands to support them: False Pretence and Glamour of the Kill. Both bands were from the UK. False Pretence were starting the night. A cool rock band that won the support slot for this show. The guys were absolutely overwhelmed by being on stage in front of this crowd. False Pretence played for about twenty minutes and warming up the crowd. Everyone was going along to the music, cheering out loud after each song and had a good time.

So the audience was already all warmed up as Glamour of the Kill entered the stage. This was the last night of them supporting Papa Roach on this tour. So the guys were partying big time. Getting drinks by their crew while playing, charing some of the booze with the fans in the front row and talking to them quite a lot. Glamour of the Kill gave their everything on stage rocking their songs, old and new. The audience thanked them by cheering big time and singing parts of songs so loud the singer did not need to sing. As a good bye prank Papa Roach had booked a male stripper that joined the guys on stage for a song. A little bit irritated Glamour of the Kill tried to stay serious and keep on playing. Another prank the crew pulled on the guys was happening during their last song for the night: While the boys were still playing the crew took part of the drums, mic stands, banners and more down and off the stage. And the night was far from being over.

Last band of the night was Papa Roach. The Californians entered the stage with a big bang and the music came blasting right at you from the very first second until the very last. Absolutely energetic and with a whole lot of passion the guys raged on stage. You could tell they had the time of their lives. Rocking out like there was no tomorrow, audience and band were having a blast. Cheering, singing so loud the next town could hear it, dancing, moving along and moshing, the entire venue was in motion. Papa Roach played old and new songs, all their hits, fast tracks and slower songs. Jacoby was talking to the audience in between songs, introducing the band, thanking their opening bands and the audience for coming out tonight. As encore they played “Getting Away With Murder”, “Dead Cell” and closed the night with one of their first hits “Last Resort”. For this last song Glamour of the Kill joined the guys on stage and sang along. Oh what a night. I sure hope they all will be back soon.
