Julien-K is back in Europe touring. Tonight they stopped in Frankfurt to perform for a small group of people. Unfortunately. But it was a Monday night. Everyone had to work the next day.

Too bad, because they were missing out on a brilliant show. For me it was the first time to see Julien-K with the new drummer. But that was not the only debut for me tonight. Tonight was also the first time to see the new songs of “We’re Here With You” live. How exciting. After two opening acts the Californian guys entered the stage, finally. Starting with new songs, they went through old and new songs and rocked the stage. The singer Ryan was constantly moving around while singing, mostly dancing. The fans knew the lyrics to all songs, so they all sang and danced along as well. It was a very familiar audience. It seemed like everybody knew each other. A little family brought together by the music of Julien-K. The guys on stage spread a positive vibe. Always smiling and sharing their passion to music. What a wonderful evening. With family and friends. At least that’s what it felt like. Music that get’s your heart beat along to the sound. Julien-K is always a pleasure to see live. Can’t wait for the next time.
