King’s Tonic is a rock band from the Ruhrpott area in Germany. Since 2003 more than 200 gigs have been absolved by James Mean (vocals), Swen O Heiland (guitars) and Christos Efthimiadis (drums). These took place in nine different countries. In fall 2004 King’s Tonic (or briefly: K’s T) published their first record called “… haven’t heard of you either” (Dinstinct/Sony CMS). It was mastered by producer’s legend Eroc (Grobschnitt, Philip Boa). Now these three powerful and energetic guys, who never seem to get tired, have released their new album called “Fuck Your Neighbour”.
The album is rocking and makes you move along, whether you want it or not. The songs are easily getting stuck in your head and easy to sing along. The melodies go straight into your mind and takes control of your muscles. You will jump, dance and rock while listening to this CD. The CD is pure rock and roll. The music is perfectly fitting for big shows in big venues and even festivals. I could imagine hearing their music before or after The Sounds, Mando Diao of even the Foo Fighters. The beginning of the bonus track somehow reminds me of Basshunter, but as the song goes on it is clearly rock and has nothing to do with Basshunter and such.
Yet, I can tell you a lot about the album here, in the end you are the ones deciding whether you buy it and like it or not. So give it a shot and make up your own mind about it.
