Tommy Reeve is a German musician. He learned to play piano in the age of five, and learned how to play drums, bass and guitar later on. His debut album “On My Mind” was released in August 2007 for the first time, now, on March 14th, it got re-released with some other songs on it. The songs “I’m Sorry” and “just One Woman” can be heard on the radio all the time. He also participated at the German Song contest for Eurovision, but didn’t win it.
The album “On My Mind” is a very emotional and loving album and quite slow. Of course are also some faster songs on there, but it’s not a dance album. It’s a nice pop-rock album combined with some Jazz elements as well as some Soul. Tommy also added some classical elements to some of the songs. Even a jazz orchestra can be heard in the background. Some songs are quite sad and even melancholic, but all in all it is a quite positive album. The song “Can’t Stop Falling” is a very romantic song, and on the song “Nomansland” there is a female singing the backing vocals. A touchy collection of songs and I am sure we will hear more of Tommy Reeve in the future. He won’t be a one-hit-wonder.
