Atlas Losing Grip is a Swedish punk rock / melodic hardcore band formed in Lund in 2005. The band is fronted by Rodrigo Alfaro (Satanic Surfers, Venerea) whose well-known voice feels more sincere than ever. The music can best be described as classic melodic punk rock with a diverse range of influences that takes the listener through shredding fast sections, catchy midtempo singalongs and heavier hardcore-ish stuff, all with political and personal lyrics, sung straight from the heart. They are often compared to bands such as Rise Against, Bad Religion and Strike Anywhere.
The new album by the Swedish punk band Atlas Losing Grip called “State Of Unrest” is out now and just waiting for you to be heard and rocked out to. Thirteen tracks full of amazing punk music pushing you through the album. With its great music accompanied by a great voice, Atlas Losing Grip sounds like a surf punk band from the States. “State Of Unrest” is yet another proof that Europeans can rock just as much and sound just as professional as these huge productions. The beat is changing during the song, so the songs never get boring and can be listened to countless times. This album will be amazing live. Songs like “Close To The End” will definitely get stuck in your head. Other songs like “Hook, Line And Sinker” will be easy to sing along to. But there’s not only power, strength and positivity on this album. Atlas Losing Grip also added one sad song to this collection of amazing tracks: “Black Hole” is a very thoughtful and sad song. “State Of The Unrest” is an amazing album by a brilliant punk band. Atlas Losing Grip knows how to rock you. “State Of Unrest” is out now, so go get it!
