Martin Bisi is an American producer and songwriter. He is known for recording records by many famous artists but he also releases his own tracks. This year the album “ Your Ultimate Urban Fantasy” came out.

Martin has an interesting way of writing his song. Taken from life as you notice right away when listening to the first track “ Manhattan Local Train”. He sings about what he comes across in whatever town he comes across and it is not perse a pretty sight. But as remarkable as the stories he has to tell you can also hear a certain appreciation for the place. The beauty of ugliness. Conflicting feelings on a topic that he chose to express on an experimental musical background. For these tracks have an eclectic surrounding but are never the star of the track. Without the story it would not stand so much. But the beauty lays in the combination of it.

So Martin Bisi seem to have taken the approach of simply bringing what he wants to bring with no consideration for what a large crowd would want. It’s simply his expression brought in the way he wants. As raw as that may be. No polished album, shiny as glass, but still providing the mirror to society. A honest and remarkable release.
