Fiat Nox is a German Black Metal formation that formed in 2016. Last year they released a debut full length and followed it with an EP. This year they start with another EP. It is called: “Demanifestation (Hymns of Destruction and Nothingness)” and it is available now.

Fiat Nox has a style of music that is not something you never heard before. That is fine as one of my criteria for still being interested is that it must of decent quality. The three tracks the band is presenting are showing us what they can do. A vehement side comes out after a long intro to the first track. They let you ease into it but when they are on, they are on. The tempo changes a bit and the growling vocals are allowing you to follow easily. The song progresses onto you. Gathering power and the slowly fades away at the end.

The second track is called “Cosmos Into Chaos” and has a more aggressive feel to it. The urge is building into it and with some subtle riffs they give the track a lot more detail that one would guess at first. The last one seems to combine the feel of both previous tracks a bit and taking all a step further. Darker, more melodic as well.

Fiat Nox created an interesting EP with “Demanifestation (Hymns of Destruction and Nothingness)”. If you have not heard them before they may be worth checking in. we are curious to hear how they evolve through the years.
