Supports: Framing Hanley; Venue: Stahlwerk, Düsseldorf (Germany)

Another night out with Good Charlotte. Tonight we were at Düsseldorf, a sold out show at Stahlwerk. There was a huge line of fans hours before doors opened already. Many sat there with blankets and tried to stay warm since it had gotten freezing cold again. As doors opened everyone tried to get in first and ran up to the front of the stage. Some kids even made banners. All were super excited to see Good Charlotte tonight and ready to for the ride.
Shortly after doors open Framing Hanley entered the stage to warm up the cold bodies of everyone in the audience that had to wait in the cold and to warm up the party mood for an amazing night. Framing Hanley is a rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, USA formed in 2005. They released their first studio album in August 2007 entitled “The Moment”. They are best known for their song “Hear Me Now” and their cover of “Lollipop”, originally by Lil Wayne. Framing Hanley came up rocking it big time and got the audience to dance and jump along. Powerful and energetic the singer jumped across the stage during the entire performance. You could tell they were having fun. but with this amazing audience to play for, no wonder! The cheering was loud and the time passed by fast. Unbelievable that Framing Hanley had just finished their entire set.
Now it was time for Good Charlotte to keep the good times up. Not a hard task for an amazing live band like Good Charlotte. The audience went crazy as the intro for “Cardiology” had just begun and went insane with the guys on stage and danced around, sang along and screamed like maniacs during the entire set of two hours in total. Just like last time, they played all their hits off all albums, Benji performed “Emotionless” all by himself on stage again and the guys also played several new songs like “Last Night”, “Silver Screen Romance”, “Sex On The Radio” and of course “Like It’s Her Birthday”. It was Good Charlotte’s last night in Germany for this tour. And it was a blast. The venue was heated up so much that water came dripping from the ceiling. Everyone had a good time. To me it was one of the best Good Charlotte shows I have ever seen – along with the one at Universal Walk – and I can’t wait to see them again!
