A Life Divided is a German electro-rock bands from Munich. Founded in 2003 they’ve already been touring with German bands like Oomph or Eisbrecher. The singer of A Life Divided also plays guitar for Eisbrecher since 2006. Now it was about time to release a new album: So here it is! This is their third album called „Passenger“.
Eleven brand new tracks, with „Heart On Fire“ being released as the first single on a 3-track EP in November 2010; this is how A Life Divided is starting out the new year. Electro rock music with a strong vocal line goes deep underneath your skin. The Alphaville cover “Sounds Like A Melody” even has an orchestra playing along. While the new A Life Divided album is very rock during the first half of it, “Passenger” gets a lot more pop during the second half. But don’t expect glitter and glamour raining down on you now. The music is still very electronic and rocking, just not as edgy as it was before and with some elements taken from pop music. The last song, which is fittingly called “The End”, sounds like a musical track you would hear at a play. “Passenger” is a very cool album by A Life Divided. Let’s see what the new year brings for them.
Tracklist: 01. Heart On Fire 02. Forever 03. Anyone 04. Words 05. Hey You 06. Doesn’t Count 07. Save Me 08. Other Side 09. Sounds Like A Melody (Alphaville Cover) 10. Change 11. The End |
