Releasedate: 29-03-2021 Label: Intelligent Music
Last years we got to know Milen Vrabevski and his Intelligent Music Project. A new album got out so we would get a new release to review. Number IV in line. It’s “The Creation”.
If you have heard the previous releases than we can say that this one falls in good line with them. They variation in the songs and the diverse people that join to collaborate on this release are always making it unique and this time we have a Ronny Romero, John Payne, Carl Sentence and Richard Grisman joining in for the vocals. As drummers we are looking at Bobby Rondinelli and Todd Sucherman. Not the least we would say.
As usual there are some Bulgarian artist that are also participating in the project and the match suits well. By now, we did not expect any different. Together they bring us a lot of catchiness in the first place but with a certain refinement that show Milen’s own mind on it as well. More than on previous releases you can feel the choice he made and that suits well. Not straying far from what we heard before, but just that little extra of Milen.
Most remarkable on this release is probably the track “Your Thoughts” which has a full sound and string sections that make it interesting. For a more calm song you find yourself being happy listening to “The Story” which has a lot of piano in it and seem to explain the track list of this release in a way.
Altogether it has become an unique piece again. For people who enjoy this melodic rock with AOR written all over it this is a good one that lays in line with the previous releases by Intelligent Music Project.
