Female Fronted Punk formation The End A.D. has been formed in 2014. After two smaller releases with Ami Friend on vocals they now come with a full length album. It is called “Badlands” and released end November.

Quite raw, this album. Songs like “Why Won’t You Die” are quite in your face and leave nothing to imagination. But don’t be mistaken. At first you may think it sounds a bit like an overemotional teenager throwing a tantrum, but you have to look a bit beyond that. You soon come to notice that behind this are some experienced musicians which have plenty of issues they want to address. But not just in words they are beyond that. Instrumentally they take heavy approach, Hardcore on the base of it and not restraining themselves in putting down some proper riffs. The album ends on a more Metal feel, “I Wanna Be Alone” giving us a vehement ending. Simply says that one should really give the album a full spin and not judge right away. The album grows onto you.

The combination of all that makes that this The End A.D. album is refreshing and give you something beyond the average group of punksters dropping their releases at our doormat.
