Mills is an Austrian Dark Rock formation that released their debut album 2 years ago. The band recently released their new album called “Verletzt”. It is available now.

The band gives some relatively calm Rock music with plenty of electronic elements. A depressive touch over it, but never transferring into whining. The biography speaks of ‘a heavy wall of guitar sound’. Perhaps we are as our website is having the focus on the heavier styles, not completely sure where exactly this wall is to be found. We have maybe missed it. We rather look at what we have then. The songs on this release are not really something you have not heard before. Innovation is not the main thing here, the quality is more on focus and the band seem to have an advantage here. They know how to keep the balance, not going overboard with one of the elements so that the whole tracklist remains easy to listen to.

The dreamy sound that Mills is giving us is serving us well in these dark times of the year. Have you found yourself something new here? No. But it certainly will be played on good rotation as the band is having their songwriting done right.
