Pro-Pain is a New York-based hardcore and Groove Metal band formed in 1991 by vocalist and bassist Gary Meskil and drummer Dan Richardson. Since its formation, Pro-Pain has produced twelve major studio releases in addition to two compilations and a live album.
Their new album “Absolute Power” takes over the power over you for the next 37 minutes from pressing play on. Pro-Pain blast out with fast speedy metal right at you. A pleasure for all metal fans. The vocals are aggressively shouted all the way through the album. The double bass kick on the drums keep the pace up. The entire album is very dark and harsh. A fist punch right in the stomach or face. A concrete like atmosphere spreads throughout the room. Harsh lyrics deepen the punches. 37 minutes is a little short for a regular album but somehow it seems to be the perfect length for “Absolute Power”. I am sure this album will cause many mosh and circle pits when being performed live. The album cover reflects the content of the CD. So for all you metal heads out there: Pro-Pain has a new album out that will take control over you. “Absolute Power” in stores now!
