KMFDM is a German industrial band from Hamburg led by multi-instrumentalist Sascha Konietzko, who founded the group in 1984 as a performance art project. With 2019 marking 35 years of conceptual continuity, KMFDM is showing no signs of slowing down or mellowing out – on the contrary, the Ultra Heavy Beat is as fired up and as energized as ever with the release of the band’s 21st album.
This brand new album is called “Paradise”. It comes with eleven songs and lasts for fifty-four minutes. Strong and energetic as ever, KMFDM are stomping through this album, dragging you along. The opening track “K-M-F” has some hip hop vibes to it. All other songs have the usual industrial sound that we know and love about KMFDM. The fast rhythms are pulling you along from first to last. It is hard to sit still while listening to this album. Each song has a high pace. There is no time to take a breath.
“Paradise” is a highly energetic album with rhythms that get you going along. No matter how hard you try, sitting still is not an option. So turn up the volume and press play. Enjoy this amazingly catchy album by KMFDM. “Paradise” is out now.
