Human Demise is a band from The Netherlands making Hardcore Metal. “The Odditorium” is their debut album.
“The Odditorium” guarantees you some hard, aggressive metal. The band choose never to compromise with sugar and keeps on going hard. This will only be underlined by the lyrics, rather dark and sinister as it comes. This might also be the weakest point. No catchy lyrics, no feeling to shout along, to share the passion that comes from deep considering the loading of it. Where is the melody that captures you then, getting onto the road towards a climax? The band collected a lot of hate and chaos, yes, but is it enough to keep the listeners coming. It’s clear that the band won’t get much lovers outside of their own genre. There is not that much of a bridge to built on them.
This all sounds much negative, but it ain’t all that bad. The band knows how to give their message through and that is worth something too. The rest is not anything that can’t be adjusted in a way that it fits with the band and opens up a bigger world for them. For a debut surely ok, but not the best record to find in this genre.
