King Company – Queen of Hearts

You know it’s hard to write about some hard and heavy band from Finland just because there were hundreds. However, you might interest in quite “young” band named “King Company”. “Queen of Hearts” is their second album in two years with changed lead-singer.

After all the records are as much solid as different. Skipping opening track I recommend to start with “One day of your life” and take a ticket to adventure, start the engine to the past and back. This track reminds OST for some fraud action. Perhaps, song was chosen as the first single before realizing the whole album. The second promoted and filmed track was “Living in a hurricane”. No doubts this is the perfect presentation of what hard and heavy really is. Speedy, spicy and melodic at the same time. The most recognizable riffs you could listen to “Lear to fly” for its narrative tempo and hectic chorus. Now pay attention on few ballad: “Stars”, “Under the spell”, “Berlin” and “Living the dream”. The last mentioned track is “Never say goodbye” for its touching vibes. During the track hug you friend, have a couple of beers and sing aloud “We never surrender, we never say goodbye”.

Actually not the ace of spades but definitely queen of hearts.
