Backyard Babies are a punk rock band, from Nässjö, Sweden. The band was formed in 1987 and over the years they have released five studio albums and won a Swedish Grammy. The band remains together, though they are now located in Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in 1987 they have now released a best of album called “Them XX”.

I am sure all of you know most of the songs on this album. Old hits such as “Minus Celsius”, “Degenerated” and “The Mess Age” come blasting right at you and have many different memories rising. All songs are very thriving and awesomely getting you going. This album is a collection of the best, and really the best. When listening to “Them XX” you don’t think of any other Backyard Babies songs and don’t miss any either. It seems like they are all right there. While listening to this album you get the urge to jump around and shout along very loudly. “Them XX” is a collection of our all time favorites of the Swedes. Coming in a beautiful white case or in a black one if you get the special edition the booklet does not include all lyrics in case you have forgotten some words since it has been a while. So you have to dig through your old Backyard Babies albums for that, But the guys help you out by listing which song is taken from which album. The booklet is still worth to look at it. Awesome pictures of the years of the band existence is what you find in there. A must have for everyones CD collection. So go get it.
