The German band Bale makes Hardcore metal. The band formed in 2005 and recently released their EP “Inside The Rain”.
First thing that comes to you when listening “Inside The Rain” must be the strong riffage that the band sets. It’s domination in all fronts. The music also contains aggressive vocals, rather raw. In most parts of these songs the vocals stay a bit behind in the mix, hardly in the foreground. This is maybe a bit sad because the attention is now far from the causes and more to the instrumental package the band brings, while in this genre would be more likely to go for a bit stronger stress on the lyrical side.
Crossing this point the band has five songs that are in a good line with each other showing the concept of the band well and give you a nice impression how much chaos this might bring in live situations. “Inside The Rain” works good for that. A little difference in a next production would put Bale to that point that the words: ‘self release’ disappear from their future discography.
