White Flame is a band from Tampere, Finland. The band has a lot alike with Aerosmith and the reference is music wise but also performance wise. Besides that, one of the band members actually worn an Aerosmith T-shirt which made the reference unthinkable to leave out.

The band was not very lucky, it was a Tuesday night and not that many people were out there. It seemed that a few fans had been there but all of them stayed quite distant from the stage. On stage there was a lot of running around mainly by vocalist and guitarist. Drummer plays with his drumsticks a lot while playing, he could be a baton twirler in his other life as it looks like. Interesting to observe that the band could not care less for the fact that tonight was not crowded but gave their fullest energy and played like it was sold out anyway. After being over the half of the set the reference to Aerosmith becomes a bit annoying though. Is the band capable of having something of their own too? Some of the riffs seemed like a straight copy, some intro’s make you doubt about the fact if that is an announcement for a cover song, but then again it seems to be slightly changed and there is something they consider as their own music. Well, for entertainment this band gets high marks, absolutely. The enthusiasm and skills are surely sufficient too, but in creativity there was a little failure.

Then again, when liking this stuff, why see bother seeing Aerosmith in a stadium with thousands others around when you can have White Flame practically for yourself? Think about that!
