The Dirty Denims – Back With A Bang (part two)

Dutch The Dirty Denims released their album earlier this year but the problem was that it was only part one. The rock and rollers from the low land are now returning to us an addition to that release. It is called “Back With A Bang” (like its previous one) but has some more songs to it.

So the first part of the album has been reviewed by us already and we wrote there that the band has this recognizable sound, straight in line with their own heroes like, ACDC, Ramones etc. This we also hear back in part two. The band has simply added a few songs and make the whole a bit more complete with it. Because the first part had only six songs and you feel it was all over a bit too soon. But the tasting is more diverse now the album is filled with some more. Joan Jett and The Blackhearts comes by, a cover then, but the bands own material is just as much in line with that as they simply don’t stray too far with it. “Loud Stuff” is that draws our attention but the all saying “We Want More” concludes the release quite well. The band must have heard it a lot!

Altogether, this is a fine release that now is complete. The first part was good, but with a bit more you get a more complete experience. However: who would still buy part one now?
