Ektomorf is a metal band from Hungary. Ektomorf was founded in 1993 in Mezőkovácsháza, Hungary, a small city near the Romanian border, by Zoltán “Zoli/Zotya” Farkas. In the actual line-up Zoli/Zotya – songwriter and mastermind of the band – is the only remaining founder member. The band is completed by Tamás Schrottner (Guitars), Szabolcs Murvai (Bass) and Róbert Jaksa (Drums).
These guys have a new album out. A live album to be precise. Ektomorf called it “Warpath (Live And Life On The Road)”. It is a live album recorded at the metal festival Wacken and comes with eleven tracks plus a bonus “Live And Life On The Road” that comes only on the DVD version of this show. So eleven live songs that give you a good impression of what a live show of Ektomorf sounds like. And let me tell you, this is a quite energetic and intense one. You can hear the cheering of the audience and the intense performance of the band itself.
So if you want to be part of an amazing metal show, check out this album or maybe even get the DVD to dive in fully. Enjoy and bang your head along to “Warpath (Live And Life On The Road)”.
