Doctor Cyclops hasn’t stood idle since their latest album “Oscuropasso” (World In Sound 2014), slowly but surely rustling up their heaviest and most accomplished project to date. This new full-length entitled “Local Dogs” is an explosive mixture of ’70s heavy rock, NWOBHM and doomier Sabbath-style riffage, ready to take you back to a different era.
They have a brand new album out now. This is called “Local Dogs” and comes with ten songs. This release absolutely resembles the 70s. With its edgy and almost grungy sound, Doctor Cyclops is taking you on a ride you will not forget easily. Each of the songs includes amazing arrangements that are telling a story on its own. The album is impressive because of its sound’s color. There is something to it that is almost hypnotizing. The vocals seem scarce. But when they appear, they will get your fullest attention.Ten songs does not sound like a lot but with about forty-eight minutes this album has the perfect length.
Doctor Cyclops is back with a brand new album. “Local Dogs” is a time travel like none you could ever imagine. So hop onto the time machine and press play. You will love it.
